About
I grew up on Chicago’s northwest side and currently live on Chicago’s suburban North Shore. I earned my undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and earned a post-graduate degree from Loyola University Chicago.
I’ve been creating works of art since 1993 and been mentored by many Chicago-area artists. I’m a member of the North Shore Art League, the Evanston Art Center, the Chicago Alliance of Visual Artists, and Women Made Gallery.
Painting represent a language that helps me express myself to the world. I work primarily in oil on canvas, but I continue to experiment with other media to create striking and unique surfaces.
When I’m not creating two-dimensional works of art, I design and create one-of-a-kind works of jewelry that are influenced by the unpretention, palette, and sense of discovery reflected in my paintings.
